Morning Update 3/18

Mike had a rough night… Spiked a 102 fever and the kidney with the new tube developed a small blood clot. It caused the tube to be blocked and urine began to leak out the incision. The blood clot ended up going through the tiny tube, which seems to have resolved the leaking/blocked tube issue. His belly is very swollen,tender, and red which they are hoping is just from the several surgeries. They are watching his hemoglobin, however, because it is trending down. If that continues, he will need another CT scan of his abdomen today to make sure he’s not bleeding internally. He is extremely worn out and still in uncontrollable pain. They can’t give him many pain meds due to the side effects of bleeding and kidney damage. His kidneys are functioning better. He is also getting lung treatments for the collapsed lung. We are still praying that he will overcome all of these hurdles as he is a fighter! Please pray for a better day today! Please pray for better labs, no internal bleeding, and overall improvement. We love you all!

Praying that things start going up. Starting with his labs, and that there is no internal bleeding, and continued prayers for the Dr's and nurses who are working on him to have the knowledge to do so, and for Mike and his family for comfort knowing God is in control, and that he has this.
