Today was Madison's first day of Chemo.  She is exhausted but did great. She has 4 more days like this for her first round to be complete. (5 days on, 2 weeks off).

Jenny and Jim met with Madison's team today to go over the game plan of what Madison's treatment will look like starting out- 
Madison will undergo 5 cycles of chemotherapy.  
After that she will have a stem cell/bone marrow transplant-possibly two. Each transplant requires a 30-day inpatient hospital stay. 
Next, they will do radiation. 
The last phase is immunotherapy treatment. Of course, the doctors will be re-testing and monitoring closely to see if a different course is needed.  The overall plan is expected to last just under 2 years. 

We will continue to update how Madison and family are doing with the treatments.
