It’s been a little while since I’ve written an update, but life has been busy these last few weeks! 

 

Last Saturday, I attended my brother’s graduation and enjoyed spending some time with my mom while she was in town. This past week, both kids had doctor’s appointments, I made it to the gym a few times, and yesterday we attended a wedding. We also got a new couch for our living room and ran some errands. Today, we went to church and enjoyed a relaxing day together as a family. 

 

For those who may not already know, Abigail’s wish trip to Disney was officially approved! We leave for Disney on July 13, and Devin and I are incredibly excited. We haven’t been on a true vacation in several years, and this trip will give our family some much-needed quality time together and a chance to recharge before Abigail’s surgery, which is now just seven weeks away. 

 

We haven’t told the kids about the trip yet, but we plan to very soon. We can’t wait to see their reactions! 

 

Abigail continues to amaze us every day. She can now count to 10 and knows her shapes and basic colors. She is definitely a little sponge, soaking up everything around her. Gunnar continues to impress us as well with his incredible memory and how quickly he learns new things.
