It was a busy weekend for our family. On Saturday, Devin and I went furniture shopping and looked at couches, a patio set, and a nightstand. Once we got home, the kids spent a good amount of time playing outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. 

 

On Sunday, we went to church and then met my parents and brother at a restaurant in Leesburg to celebrate my birthday. After lunch, we finished the day with some ice cream from Bruster’s. Gunnar decided he wanted to spend the night with my parents, so Devin and I headed home with just Abigail. 

 

Yesterday was my birthday, and I started the day at the gym. After that, I ran a few errands before heading home to make dinner. We spent the evening outside together, enjoying some family time. It’s hard to believe it feels like just yesterday that I was turning 21, and now here I am, ten years later. Time truly flies. 

 

Today, I’m going to pick up Gunnar from my parents’ house and then take the kids on a little field trip. We also officially have just nine weeks left before we head back to Boston. It seems like the days keep moving faster and faster, and before we know it, it will be time for Abigail’s next chapter of care.
